MOHOMED MORANI
Mohomed Morani who belongs to the illustrious family of the Moranis is a successful and dedicated doyen in the business of showbiz and entertainment for the last three decades. Starting his career in the family business of fireworks and then introducing modern technical innovations; Mohomed made his family legacy the pioneers in this 57 yr old company thereby carving a veritable niche for himself.
In the 1980’s the flame of aspiration burning incandescent within him…his enthusiastic and keen mind teeming with ideas, Mohomed Morani moved on to form a film production company with his partners and produced several hit films such as ‘Arjun’, ‘Damini’, and the super successful ‘Raja Hindustani’.
It was on his first trip to London in 1989 that he attended a music concert along the lines of an open orchestra. Soaking in the atmosphere, watching the artists perform live; he soon realized that this is something he had the creative brains to do on a grander scale. Endowed with a keen sense of understanding and an amazing eye for detail; his newly formed company ‘Cineyug Entertainment’ roped in Aamir Khan,Sanjay Dutt, Sri Devi, Anupam Kher and Satish Kaushik; the reigning stars of then blockbusters like “Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak”, “Rocky” and “Mr. India”; and after months of arduous brainstorming and toil ; they independently conceived, scripted and directed their first live show that ran to packed audiences. They haven’t looked back since and the rest is history.
Unbridled success seldom comes knocking on the doors of those who sit back and wait for fruitful results to transpire and then there are those who believe in grasping and creating every possible opportunity ; harnessing their immanent strengths to script a ‘success story’ all of their own!
Mohomed Morani’s expanded vision and great exposure took him on the path to create Bollyland, India’s first and only Bollywood dance music festival, in conjuction with MTV.
Subsequently, Cineyug group of companies has taken over a one of its kind location, DOME, wherein Mohomed Morani is a managing director, and also being a part of the only entertainment company in India to be handling such a prestigious location.
Cineyug is known for the creative take on its weddings, that are held across the globe, keeping in respect the different cultures and themes; along with uncountable number of Award functions, World tours, internation concerts shows for which Mohomed Morani has won an abundance of awards. He has brought together the biggest names in Bollywood like Mr. Shah Rukh Khan, Mr. Amitabh Bachchan, Mr. Salman Khan, Mr. Aamir khan and lots more to perform live across the globe in various events.
Many years ago Cineyug chose to walk the path less travelled by, full of peril and risk and today they match upto International standards.
Mohomed Morani has managed to build Cineyug into a brand name to reckon within the entertainment industry and looks to further build on their success thus far.
